PGOLID Studies

Wastewater

In 2023, PGOLID hired SEH to conduct a feasibility study for water and sewer around the PGOLID lakes. The report can be downloaded here:

Drinking Water

In 2025, PGOLID conducted a lake-wide study of drinking water wells.  This study was a major undertaking by PGOLID, PLPOA, and the residents of Pelican, Little Pelican, Fish and Bass Lakes along with the team at RMB Laboratories in Detroit Lakes, MN.  The results of this work are likely to have a long lasting impact on how people deal with their drinking water choices.  We appreciate all the help and the community’s involvement in this project.

The PGOLID board meeting of May 12, 2026 moved to release these documents to the public and is not currently pursuing any further activities regarding drinking water in the LID.

There are 2 documents and one video available.  The study report is a written version of the full presentation on Oct 29th, 2025 and the Fact sheet is a 2 page summary of the same information.  If you would like Dr Lund to present this information to your group or organization, please contact him directly.
