Chapter 9: Lake Water Quality

9.4 Bass Lake

see lake data summary report

Bass Lake is 48 acres with a maximum depth of 33 feet. The littoral area is 24 acres, which is 50% of the total lake area.

Bass Lake is relatively sheltered from the large waves that can occur on Pelican and Fish Lakes. It has vegetation on the south end, which is good sheltered fish habitat.

Bass Lake has been monitored from 2003-2007. It has similar water quality to Big Pelican Lake.

9.4.1 Water Clarity

Bass Lake has an average Secchi depth of 12.1 feet.
